Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. How come that's the way of the rainbow?

I guess because God has decided that.

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. How come that's the way of the rainbow?
because it is!
Reply:Cause thats the only way to come up with "Roy G Biv".

What else could you name it? LOL.
Reply:Just because that's the way it is...
Reply:all colors have wavelengths which when bent off of a prism, the shortest wavelength is blue and longest is red, and comes out ROY G. BIV
Reply:Each of these colors represents a slightly different wavelength of light. If you refract light through a prism, you'll get the same colors in the same order.
Reply:It is not..It is Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, violet...Indigo was removed in the 80's and they'r all color spectrums that make up white light
Reply:Roygbiv. That could be a name. Did you notice how the next color of the previous color kind of match? It was made like this way from people who said the colors of the rainbow. I would rather let you know to check out more about the colors of the rainbow. Some other people call red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet the COLOR WHEEL.
Reply:So you can remember the name Roy G Biv
Reply:cause they are beautiful colors
Reply:not on this side of the world
