if you cant make it lighter by dying your hair. try a hair bleach

It depends what color hair your hair was before. If you're hair was a dark brown color (which what it sounds like) it would have a golden color for the result to dying it blonde.



You'll have to dye your hair again. Bleaching it might have a better effect on your hair, but it will damage your hair. If you use the boxes from Target or Wal-mart, it'll take some time before your hair can start changing to a blonde.

try that! OR dye your hair a lighter color from the hair dye you used,what color did you want it? golden blonde,make sure not to buy it too light!
Reply:You may need to do a two stage process - you won't find this in drugstores, WalMart, etc. Basically you do a lightener for a while, then add the color that you want to it. Sally's Beauty Supply or similar places ...
Reply:go to the hair salon either get it done there or ask what to do i would get it done there though because they know what their doing.
