In 1901 the cow was white on a black background.
In 1930 it was replaced by a St Bernard dog.
Then in 1971 the cow was brought back, it was an advertising agency that came up with the idea to make it lilac this time.
Newspaper ads were colourised but for TV ads they used a Simmental breed of cow as it has a light coat and they sprayed her to turn her lilac (the colour brushes out).
I really need to know why the milka cow is violet. Please help me.?
I really cannot help... but WHY wuld this be vital ??
am I on your Planet ?? how many Moons have you ?
Reply:its very embarrassed
Reply:Global warming.
Reply:to make the chocolate more appealing
if they had a plain looking cow on the front of a package of MILKA chocolate do u really think everyone would rush and buy it
no
they might think it has meat in it or something
the purple cow makes it look funny and cool which attracts a lot of people to the chocolate
so the cow is just purple as a sales gimmick
Reply:i dont know but it tastes sooo delicious i cud eat a violet cow right now !
