I have had reaccurent ear infections in my ear on and off for 4 months now...am slowly losing my hearing over it all....the doctor used Gentian Violet in my ear...itches like crazy....never heard of it used for this before...
Has anyone ever heard of using Gentian Violet in your ear?
This is an old remedy, used way back in the sixties and seventies before better drugs were available. Nevertheless, it is effective. It is messy, though. Gentian violet is also used for thrush and for skin infections.
