Im thinking of color combinations, what would go with violet?
What wedding colors would go with violet? What were your colors?
If you go to Brides.com you can use the color wheel they have to find out what looks good to you.
I used it and came up with these combinations:
Silver+Purple+Pink
Silver + Lilac + Maple
Lilac+Purple+Lime
Red+Violet+Brown
Violet+Lilac+Pearl
Violet+Lilac+Orange
Robin's Egg+Lilac+Pearl
Silver+Pearl+Violet
Magenta+Violet+Orange
Magenta+Violet+Lime
Magenta+Violet+Lilac
Magenta+Violet+Gold
Magenta+Purple+Silver
Violet+Wheat+Cream
Pink+Magenta+Lilac
Hope that helps
Reply:Sage Green. Mine were Lilac and Green or Lavander and Green
Reply:aqua green, yellow, more pastel colors. My wedding was black, white and gold. It was awsome.
Reply:a deep purple will compliment violet.
depending on the month you get married you can also use a very pale yellow.
The florist will have good ideas.
Reply:violet and plum look fantastic together!
my wedding colors were fall colors... gold, plum, burgandy, rust orange, and bronze... mostly in the flowers, candles, and other decor, since there were no attendants other than or fathers in black tuxes.
Reply:Olive green looks very nice with violet and a fushia color also
Reply:I just used different colors of purple. My dress had a lavender ribbon, my bridesmaids wore violet, and the boys wore black tuxes with black vests w/silver stitching.
Reply:Cream and gold
Reply:Ivory would go well with violet, or something along that line that's more neutral.
Go to http://www.davidsbridal.com/mam.jsp to play around with different colour combos. That's what I'm working on right now.
Best of luck!
Reply:I just got married in August and my colors were lavendar and silver, it was beautiful. If you were going to go with violet, I would go with something like an orange or bright orange, silver, cream, a light blue maybe. You could go down to like a party store or something like that and put some colors together in the napkin and paper plates aisle. Good Luck and Congrates on your upcoming wedding! : )
Reply:Maroon and Chocolate (It's a dark brown). My wedding colors were a creamy yellow, cake icing pink and lavender.
Reply:i think that shades of violet combined with little bits of blues would be really nice.

My colors are red %26amp; silver. You could also do violet %26amp; silver.
Reply:silver, pink, white, cream or peach would be best.
Reply:Violet and a orange would go really good together. Add a little red in with it and it would become elegant.
And very pretty.
Good luck.
Reply:Violet/White
Violet/ivory-white
Violet/silver
Violet/chocolate brown
Violet/another variation of purple
(monochromatic theme)
Mine were a light blue and a cream.

violet would look great with red or blues since they're close to it in the color spectrum. anywhere you want something to really pop amazingly, use yellow or orange for some great contrast.
