What all can i feed a dragon fish(violet goby)?
You need to take a little time researching your new pet. Make sure you understand what it needs and what it can just merely live with. I hear that they will eat algae wafers, preferred diet is a mixture of infaunal invertebrates (worms and insect larvae, for example,They will also scrape algae from rocks (that's what their teeth are for). They also enjoy small or broken algae pellets, bloodworms, blackworms, and chopped earthworms. They have VERY LITTLE interest in larger foods such as river shrimp or feeder fish, whatever the retailers sometimes suggest. Stores will often suggest you feed your fish other fish that is because they would prefer you buy the most expensive food for your pet. Make sure you buy what he or she needs to eat. Violet Goby's are not predators if they eat other fish it's not what they really want to eat.

:) Go online do some research. And, then ask pet stores.
Reply:dragon gobys are non aggressive fish! I have a 12 inch goby dragon and he will eat flakes but you can get some dried brine shrimp or blood worms. They do not eat smaller live fish! Report It
Reply:I think when your dragon goby is big, he would eat the rosy red barbs since they are very small. I think that you can feed it some live guppies. Take good care of them when being acclimated. Also, you should try and train your goby to eat some pelleted foods so you don't always have to feed it guppies.
