What colours are to be mixed in order to get violet colour?
blue and red, white too. specifically i like phalo blue + aliziron crimson+ a little titanium white. that combo makes the most beautiful color. i love it. :)
Reply:blue and red I guess.

go heavy on the blue
Reply:Red and blue
Reply:Various reds and blues.
Reply:Red %26amp; blue (with more red)
Reply:blue and red
Reply:Blue and red- to get purple

Add ceramic white to purple to the violet colour you want. =D
Reply:Red and blue. More red than blue to get a true violet. Just a note-violet is purple. It is the term used in the art world for purple. It is not lavender or lilac or any other tint-it is purple.
Reply:you are best to use a warm red such as magenta, with cobalt or cerulean blue, then adjust tone with white(lighter) or blue(darker) to get the shade you prefer.
Reply:If you want just purple, blue and red is perfect, but if you want a violet, blue and pink, if lighter or darker you wish to have just add a little bit of white and very litle black.
