My Sony Camera has a violet lavender hue on the screen and it is affecting the picture help?

I have a Sony Cyber Shot 7.2 Megapixels DSC - W70

My Sony Camera has a violet lavender hue on the screen and it is affecting the picture help?
Seems like you put a magnet too close the the LCD. I am not sure if magnets do affect screens anymore but if it does it will make a violet color. It probably wont do anything to your pictures just that you cant see it right till you put it on your computer.
Reply:well if its on the lcd screen of your camera, it cannot affect the pictures you shoot. other way, if your pictures are getting afected, you may have damaged your ccd through some inter magnetic link... blablabla. anyways, now heres the solution : you could get it checked from a local picture station or send it back through warranty to the company and they may fix it free of cost if you provide valid reasons. The same problem is with my sony too, but thats because of uv rays and other crap ... donot try to solve it yourself as you may damage it further...
