Do you think the name Violet Skye is a cool name for a girl?

I really like it..unique and different but not so unusual that it will affect this child in a negative way. Both names are actual names... not like Apple or Coco..

I personaly think it is, its a pretty name! I mean, if you like it...lol
Reply:.I like the name Skye , but Violet , don't like that name very much . It reminds me of old people. Maybe because my husbands grandma 's name was Violet .
Reply:It looks very cool written/typed but if spoken, can be mistaken for Violent Sky since the word violent is far more common than violet. Just my opinion.... ;)

Reply:It is a cool name. It sounds like a character from a romance novel. As long as Violet doesnt make you think of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it's a very nice name. :)
Reply:Violet is cool, and Skye is cool, but Violet-Skye together sound, erm, hippie-ish. Unless you're ok with that i might not name a girl those two names together.
