Rebecca Violet ... What do you think of this name combo?

What is she like, and would you use the name for your own daughter?

Rebecca Violet ... What do you think of this name combo?
I think it is very cute. Reminds me of a princess or something. Very elegant sounding to me. I probably would not use it though only because I have had my heart set on a name every since I was a little girl. Good luck!
Reply:They don't really go together because Violet is soft and demure and Rebecca sounds more lively and active, but both names are nice alone.
Reply:It's cute. Sure.
Reply:Pretty.

The Violet part makes it sound sweet and maybe a little shy or quiet to me.

I'd use it, although I didn't.
Reply:it ******* sucks.
Reply:i LOVE violet, but i dont like rebecca. that could just be because theres an annoying girl in my class with that name lol, or maybe i dont like the way it sounds...i dont know. i also dont like "becky" or "becca", the nicknames. here are other ideas:

charlotte rose

violet brianne

lauren violet

violet louise

lily ann

daniella violet

daniella rose
Reply:I like Violet, but not Rebecca. Rebecca is just to common now, but Violet is beautiful.
Reply:I wouldn't use it because it doesn't flow with our last name, but it is sure a good name.
Reply:I don't care for it Rebecca is very common.
Reply:Pretty
Reply:What is she like? What? Well the name I like it. I don't know if I would use it myself, but I like it.
Reply:I like Violet but not Rebecca..Sorry you asked..

No i wouldnt name my daughter this.

Reply:they r cute names seperate not together
Reply:If I have a daughter, I'm naming her Hilary Claire. I like Rebecca though
Reply:Hm...

I think Rebecca is a beautiful name. I think I did consider this for my daughter, along with Rachel, which I like too. (Ended up naming her Autumn.)

Violet... not so sure. Sounds kinda old-lady-ish.

How about...

Rebecca Avery? (Avery sounds stronger to offset the feminine quality of Rebecca.)
Reply:It doesn't really flow together smoothly. But I do like both Rebecca and Violet, just not together. When I hear the name I think of a pretty, brown-haired little girl who is shy and quiet.
Reply:I think it is pretty. I envision a cute, bubbly brown haired girl.
Reply:I myself was named Rebecca after my cousin. I like Rebecca Violet, it sounds regal.
Reply:Rebecca Violet simply does not roll off the tounge - ideally, you want something that sounds good and rolls right of the tongue. Something such as Rebecca Grace does so. However, if Voilet has sentimental value to you, I strongly suggest you find a name that works with it. Keep in mind Violet is rather old-fashioned, and whilst you might love it and it's unique, your child has to live with it. She may not always appreciate having a name that was popular in centuries past.
