if you have large leaves on your african violets they will not bloom for they are spending all their energy on growing leaves not producing flowers you need to pinch of the large lower leaves then stress the plant by not watering it then when the soil is dry only water just a little bit then fertilize with 10-50-10 fertilizer for blooming and fruiting purpose fertilizer. then you should be back in business.they like indirect light not bright sunshine..the size of the pot should be fine the more they root the more they bloom .
Reply:Correct fertilizer and fertilizer timing and quantity.
Reply:sometimes african violets need to be slightly stressed out in order to produce more flowers. What I mean by this is to not water them for a three day period of time, and make sure the soil is dry, then water with 1/2 the recommended amount of 20-20-20. You will be able to see a production of flowers in no time. Hope this helps you out.
Reply:They could be outgrowing the pots. Pick them up and look a the drain holes. If you can see roots, then definitely "upgrade".

They probably need fertalizer. Get the one special for african violets and follow the label directions carefully.
