I have soaked them in warm water and they grow great leaves. They are in a sunny window which they love. How do I get them to grow beautiful flowers?
How the heck do I get my violets to grow flowers? I have tried everything.?
Use fertilizer and let them dry out a bit more before thoroughly watering them, not to the point of wilting, but when the soil surface is dry.
Reply:Feed them. Get some Miracle Gro Violet Food.
You'll get your flowers.
Reply:Try just a little bit of coffee. Mix a Tablespoon or so in some water and it might help. My Peace Lily loves coffee.
Reply:African violets need to be slightly pot bound to bloom, so don't transplant to a new pot and just be patient.
