I want to do a stencil of a castle on my daughter's wall?

I have decided to do an indigo color on the top half of the room and a violet on the bottom, but I want to do a stencil of a castle. Problem is I can't find a castle stencil and I don't have a lot of money to spend. I don't draw very well, but I think if I can tape a stencil to the wall I can make it look good. Where would I find one for a reasonable price?

this site has a huge variety of princess, castle, unicorn theme decor and accessories, you might find something there
Reply:You can find picture of a castle online, I am sure. IF your daughter goes to school you can ask her teacher if he/she will let you use the projector/overhead and get some butcher paper. Trace the castle onto the paper. Then you can trace that onto a piece of cardboard and cut it out. Hang the cardboard on the wall and paint it in. It sounds like a lot of work, but I am sure it will be worth it.
Reply:To get the perfect look, find a picture on the internet that you like the outline of. Print it out (it doesn't matter how large it is), and cut the castle out, leaving a perfect outline in the sheet of paper. Throw away the castle picture, and have somebody hold the sheet with the castle-shaped hole in it.

Shine a flashlight in it, and you're ready to trace. Better yet, it didn't cost anything!
Reply:Find a cinderella castle picture and get a projector that transfers the image to the wall. They have them at Craft stores. A castle wouldn't be too hard to draw. I'd get Cinderella coloring book and just try it. You can do it!!!
Reply:I often use coloring books to get these ideas.

Have it copied to a transperiency at a copy store.

Then use an overhead like they do at school. It will enlarge it on your wall.

You can find someone who might be able to let you use one.
Reply:Hello, I paint and sell wallpaper murals on ebay. Perfect for decorating kids rooms. www.stores.ebay.com/muralsrus

If you do not see something you like email me and tell me what you are looking for. Send me a picture and I can paint it for you.
Reply:I actually sell Uppercase Living and they have a ton of cute vinyl cliparts, wall words that look like stenciling that don't ruin your new paint(they can even be applied to tile and glass surfaces). They have very cute princess themes and they have a castle that you can easily apply to the wall and you can customize the size and color.

Just go to http://www.uppercaseliving.com Use Demonstrator ID: 178665 and Token: Rusch to view the catalog.
