What's a good middle name for "Violet"?

I really love the name "violet" for a girl and so does my boyfriend. I liked Isabella for a middle name but some people think it doesnt flow well and my boyfriend likes "elizabeth" but I think its over-used. whats a good, creative, pretty middle name that goes with "violet" that flows nicely and isnt used very often. I really like older names but I dont want another name for a flower. Oddly, we tend to like shakespearean names. I was thinking "Violet Rosaline" but I dont know, that doesnt seem to flow well either. I like nature names too...Like Rowan but Violet Rowan...now sure about that (rowan is a tree). I might as well name her Daisy Sunshine!! *lol* Do you like Violet Isabella?

Reply:I like Violet Isabella, but here are some others to ponder...

Violet Flor

Violet Marie

Violet Renee

Violet Loraine
Reply:Personal preference aside, if you find Elizabeth too "over-used," it would follow that Isabella would be even less appealing (it's the fourth most popular name in the nation).

It IS a form of Elizabeth, however, so it seems you both actually like the same name. You just can't agree on which form. ;) What about trying a few more?

Eliza

Elise

Elisa

Elisheba

Elspeth

Alzbeta

Reply:I love the name Isabella but I dont think it flows. I love the name Grace as a middle name.
Reply:I'm just throwing in some unusual suggestions. These are all English in origin. Maybe you could actually use one of these:

Violet Amaris (child of the moon)

Violet Daralis (beloved)

Violet Edolie (noble)

Violet Ember (smoldering remains of a fire)

Violet Gaines (increase in wealth)

I know I will probably get lots of "thumbs down"s for this answer, but you asked for creative names that are not used very often.

Good luck and best wishes to you, your boyfriend, and little Violet!

For some other suggestions, names starting with "I" or "L" (Just like Isabella) will flow well with the middle sounds in Violet.

Something like:

Violet Lacey

Violet Laine

Violet Layla

Violet Leah

Violet Leanne

Violet Leona

Violet Louisa

Violet Lucia/ Lucille/ Lucinda

Violet Lydia

Violet Lyla

For something Shakespeare you could try:

Violet Iras (Antony %26amp; Cleopatra)

Violet Luce (Comedy of Errors)

Violet Luciana (Comedy of Errors)

Violet Imogen (Cymbeline)

Violet Lychorinda (Pericles)

Violet Iris (The Tempest)

Violet Lavinia (Titus Andronicus)

Violet Lucetta (Two Gentlemen of Verona)

Or, for something natureish:

Violet Laurel (plant)

Violet Linden (plant)

Hope that helps! :)
